THE AMERICAN FREEDOM COLLEGE
ONLINE LIBRARY
|
All
historical contents of the library that are no longer covered by
copyright are being digitalized for use by our online students.
After the digitalization project is complete, the library will
become headquarters for American Freedom College Inc.
In 1881, the present library building was constructed as the
library and classroom building. In 1921, it became the Rinck
Library after Mrs. Jefferson Rinck donated her husbands personal
book collection to the library. The donation more than tripled
the size of the library. She later bought four other private
collections and donated them to the school. At her death in 1947
the library contained in excess of 36,000 volumes.
The Library now
contains
more than 36,765 volumes. The library has the largest collection
of books on Phrenology in the nation. In 2005, the library
was renamed the American Freedom College Library.
